Disney College Program

Discover the Magic
In Europe, Middle East and Africa, we have been creating exceptional entertainment experiences for over 90 years. Through our diverse portfolio of businesses, we focus on delivering our unique brand of world-class storytelling to millions of consumers across more than 130 countries in strategic and locally relevant ways, employing thousands throughout the region.

To qualify for application, you must meet the following criteria:
  • You're at least 18 years old when you submit your application. Your 18th birthday must fall on or before the date you apply.
  • You're currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in the United States or the United States territories and actively working toward an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Graduate degree*. Not sure if your school is accredited?  Search the U.S. Department of Education's database at ope.ed.gov/accreditation.
  • You graduated from an accredited college or university in the United States or the United States territories* within the last 12 months of this job posting. Already have your diploma? You can still apply. The 12-month window is measured from the date the application becomes available — not when you apply or when the program starts. The application date is listed in the title of the job posting.
  • Before your program start date, you must have completed at least one term at your college or university (or a minimum of 6 credit hours) towards your degree. Credits must have been earned after graduating high school or earning your GED. Whether you're full time or part-time, you're eligible- as long as those credits count towards your degree.
  • You're in good academic standing at your school. Some schools require a minimum GPA or advisor approval before you can participate in an off-campus program. Check with your academic advisor before applying — Disney's approval doesn't override a hold your school places on your participation.
  • You have valid work authorization in the United States for the full duration of your program. U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, green card holders, and F-1 students with valid OPT or CPT authorization are all welcome. If you have a different type of employment authorization that will be valid (unexpired) for the duration of the program dates you select, reach out to your DSO (Designated School Official) to confirm eligibility before applying. Disney does not sponsor visas for this program.

*U.S. includes all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and all other U.S. territories.

Frenquently Asked Questions

Yes! You are welcome to apply to both the Disney College Program and Disney Internships. However, if you are offered both, you will need to choose one opportunity to accept.

If you accept a Disney College Program offer and later receive an offer for a Disney Internship (or another role within The Walt Disney Company) before your program start date, the Disney Programs team will support you in accepting that new opportunity.

Should this happen, please submit a request on the Support Site for assistance.

While all credit decisions are at the full and final discretion of your college/university, as Disney Programs cannot grant, guarantee or otherwise award any form of credit, you can work with your college advisor to potentially receive credit for your program.

Medical insurance is not included as a benefit for participants in the Disney College Program. While coverage is not required, it is strongly recommended that you obtain medical insurance for the duration of your program. You may want to consult your current insurance provider to discuss options for students participating in academic internships, co-ops or work-study programs.

A summer-only season is periodically offered for Disney College Program Alumni (previous participants who have successfully completed a program). First-time participants are not eligible to apply for the summer-only season, due to the extremely limited number of openings and the brevity of the program. There is no guarantee the opportunity will be offered each year. Any updates regarding a possible Summer Alumni opportunity will generally be shared during the beginning of spring.

Please note that all dates are approximate and subject to modification.

You may opt-in to receive email updates about the Disney College Program by completing this form.
